Contactor – Dan Cutler

November 19, 2015 · Andy Hum

Attached find a presentation with the contactor box.  I used a Handy Box, box spacer, uni-strut nut and 3/8 inch 1.25 inch long bolt and nut on the side of the contactor box see presentation.  As you can see my whole system is controlled by your equipment.

I use the Ivac switch for the dust collector, Ivac 220 volt tool one for the table saw, one for the joiner and surface planner. I use a Ivac tool 110 volt for the router tables and surface sander.  I even have the portable switch unit that I use with my sanders and miter saw.

These units work great and have improved  efficiency in my shop.  No more running over and turning on the dust collector which means it saves time, and has improved my dust collection.  Before I had your system if I only needed to make a few cuts with my table saw I would make the cuts without turning on the dust collector this means poor dust collection and dust in the air which is not healthy; therefore your system provides not only a more efficient operation but a safer environment to work in.

Thanks again for designing such good products.
